IT’S ON! Can you lend a hand Sunday? Stage one clean up of large items dumped over Dalhousie Road wall and general area. Calling for volunteers for an hour to get as much as possible into a skip in the lay-by down from the hedge and bing next to Newtongrange Star FC. Bring heavy gloves and boots, protective clothing (nettles and brambles in some areas) anyone with rakes, pickers and black bags please bring too!
We’ll make a start and tidy further in Winter when the foliage has died back so this is about getting the big items out and showing some village pride!
Dalhousie Rd section not suitable for children, may be heavy and sharp items involved, uneven and loose surfaces, but if bringing children, then a further group in the Park may be made.
