Two Community Councillors took part in the Newtongrange Remembrance Day Parade and Ceremony in the village on Sunday, to honour those from the parish who gave their lives for our country.
 
In a moving service, poppy wreaths were placed at the War Memorial, and participants paid homage to all those brave heroes.
