The November NCC hybrid meeting @ The Dean Tavern, The Lamp Room & on zoom captured community concerns and on-going issues. In person police report and discussion with Sgt. Michele Lindsay. Membership. Councillor’s reports were offered and further updates given by our Midlothian South, ward Councillors.
Welcome to the first January NCC meeting of 2023: Newtongrange Community Council to discuss the Midlothian council savings proposals, this years main aims and objectives plus requirements for postponed AGM now to be held in person on Tuesday 28th of February 7-8pm @ Dean Tavern
CAN YOU HELP PARK CENTENARY VOLUNTEERS?
Do you or someone you know have a battery-operated driver or grinder. That you can come down and help to strip paint rust from the Newtongrange Welfare Park railings? Or can lend to the volunteers working on the railings.
The group has now stripped and repainted about 120 metres of railing along Bryan's Road/Park Road.
The action is required as a large external group are willing to come to the village to paint for us. As a result we are endeavouring to strip back as much raling on Park Road ASAP and need as much mechanical tools as possible to do this preparatory work.
