Midlothian Council service cut proposals: “none of the proposed cuts would be necessary if Midlothian Council was funded appropriately and fairly. We do not accept them. We do not want to pit group against group trying to fight for whose cause is more important, they are all important. We must stand together in solidarity.”

Just a reminder to all the drivers who continue to drive far too fast on Park Road, it is a 20mph zone. Especially on the School run! ( often on mobiles phones after dropping kids off). The road is next to a Nursery, Primary School, play Park and the main Park.
Great cycling security initiative this Saturday morning by Midlothian Police in conjunction with Newtongrange Library hope to see you there to get bike secure
