This the first of five events to be delivered across the Scottish central coal belt in 2024 to to facilite greater awareness and understanding of the geology, ecology and potential for both black to green engery transitions and carbon capture of former mining landscapes. A Gorebridge event is planned in late July/August so make sure to check out Mining Landscapes page.We are at the former Comrie Colliery site 31st May for the first of our free walk and workshop series with Matt, Botanical Society of Britain & Ireland, Katie Strang, Scottish Geology Trust and community artist Yvonne Weighand Lyle.
