Here’s Mary, she’s a regular at the Reminiscence Group on Fridays at Loanhead Library and was really looking forward to Neil Fraser from Historic Environment Scotland talking about fashion through the ages. Mary says she “comes with the girls” and loves the chat about things like what they all used to wear and life in Loanhead. Asked if there were any particular outfits of hers she remembers, Mary says: “I love a nice pair of jeans, a nice white T-shirt and a turquoise cardi.”
What do you like about your local library and what could be done better to serve our communities and help people to stay connected? Tell us online or join the conversation at Loanhead or Danderhall libraries. 😍
