There will be nets up for casual tennis or badminton tomorrow in the old courts in the park this Saturday 6th of August 10:30-13:00. Coach Michael is unavailable. Looking to get another coaching session next week TBC. If you can bring along your own adult rackets and a few balls that will be helpful. We have enough shuttlecocks. A community garden for Newtongrange?Last week we took a few of the junior Guerrilla Gardeners up to Mayfield & Easthouses Development Trust’s Community Garden and we were completely blown away by what they they’re doing up there!
It was a hive of activity and an amazing example of what can be achieved.

Yes definitely. I suggest the area beside the leisure centre. It's already got some lovely trees there

Yes!! So much available space that could be put to use for a community garden: by the leisure centre, at the mining museum, next to the church...
Up the front of the school would be nice. Its a disgrace at the moment
