Welcome to the first January NCC meeting of 2023: Newtongrange Community Council to discuss the Midlothian council savings proposals, this years main aims and objectives plus requirements for postponed AGM now to be held in person on Tuesday 28th of February 7-8pm @ Dean Tavern, The Lamp Room & remotely via Zoom.

  5. 2023 Year Aims for NCC– What are the key priorities
    1. Protecting and improving services:
      1. Joint Priorities – Footways and Road Capital Expenditure (2023 – 2024) discussion – Where is the area most in need?
      2. Newtongrange Primary School (2025) and Welfare Park centenaries (2026)
    2. The Newtongrange Masterplan: ensuring community development remains at its heart and engaging business and the village in its progress
      1. Do we want new hoardings at the Pool site? (Jeremy)
      2. Newtongrange Library and future plans for the site? (Linda)
