The October meeting of Newtongrange Community Council focusing on what format next months AGM on Thursday November 30th 7pm will take and ensure it is announced. Bank signatory volunteers, ‘The Pool’ container Remembrance Day wreath,  Welfare Park and noticeboard,  opportunities and developments.

   A decision needed on whether online or in Newbattle CLC (or both) (Discussion)

   3. John has confirmed he will not be in attendance for AGM but is willing to stand for re-election as Treasurer.
   4. A Secretary is required and need to check whether other office bearers require re-election.

5. 2021-22 Year Aims for NCC– On agenda for reference during wider discussion – opportunity to review and note early thoughts for the year.
   1. Protecting and improving services:
      
      1.  Remembrance Day Wreath – Decision required on standing order payment (John) * Ross has wreath and will represent NCC on 14/11/21
      2. Welfare Park fence painting (June)
      3. Line Dyke wall (John/June)
      4. Jeremy to make numerous updates and aims to complete second issue of Newtongrange Flyer at weekend after receiving new content from NDT.  (Andrew)
   2. The Newtongrange Masterplan: ensuring community development remains at its heart and engaging business and the village in its progress
      1. Any updates or information from Councillors from meeting point 9.2 Proposed Replacement of Newtongrange Library – by head of Development
   3. Engaging the community: positive solutions for inclusivity, village pride and achievement.

         Action required to coordinate transport from Stobhill depot stores and installation with Justin and Keith Slight at MC. Contact David @ Parks & Country
      2. Todd the Snake – Jeremy contacted Clr. Johnstone and Justin Venton regarding funding and placement work.
