The November NCC hybrid meeting held at the Newbattle Community Learning Centre. Discussions regarding the findings and importance of Local Place Plan and safety issues on Crawlees Road were amongst some of the items discussed.
The AGM looks at the year’s progress, sets the meeting schedule for 2024 and sees the election of members and office bearers. All welcome.
The October NCC hybrid meeting chaired by Jeremy Adderley captured community concerns and on-going issues. Councillor’s reports were offered and discussion regarding the Crawlees Road traffic concerns, Local Place plan, Police Report and correspondence. Members...
The February NCC hybrid meeting @ The Dean Tavern, The Hall & on zoom captured community concerns and on-going issues. Councillor’s reports were offered and discussion regarding Midlothian Council proposed savings & further updates given by our Midlothian South, ward Councillors.
The AGM was an opportunity to reflect on the changes to the Newtongrange Community Council and prepare for an increasing membership as more in the community want to support the village’s development.

Thanks to the diligence of our Treasurer John he has compiled a useful map of all the 17 defibrillators in and around Newtongrange. That have been laminated and added across Newtongrange.
This compliments the online listing www.defibfinder.uk/ but remember this map & website are used to locate defibrillators, but is not intended for use in an emergency.
